Connecting Sport and People with Disability (Webinar 4: 03/02/11)

A webinar was held on 2 December based on UTS and the Australian Sports Commission collaborative research on the sport participation and nonparticipation of people with disability.

Carrying on from webinar 3 we will now look at what are the benefits and challenges of providing sporting opportunities for people with disability from the perspective of a sport provider. People that work in sport will provide real examples of how they have developed and conducted inclusive sport programs. What were that benefits and challenges of offering different opportunities for people with disability to take part in their sports? How successful were these programs?
