Mai Hansford – PhD research using semiotics for the analysis of visual communication in political cartoons in newspapers. Extensive interests in curriculum design and the learning process in communication and public relations, and, in experiential learning. Interests in the ethics of public communication practice. Extensive industry experience as public relations consultant.
